You have something to share, don’t you?
Your story.
Your message.
Your ideas.
Your art.
The lessons you’ve learned, the thoughts that keep you up at night, the solutions you’ve discovered along the way. Those are the things that make you special. One-of-a-kind.
They are a gift, and you are the steward.
You were designed to add value to others by sharing those gifts.
But if you are like most people, you struggle to express yourself.
Maybe you lack the time, energy, skill set, or experience to be share your message.
Perhaps your perfectionism is holding you back, screaming judgment in your ear.
I don’t know what’s burning inside of you or what’s keeping you from sharing it.
But I do know this.
It’s time to create a breakthrough.
I’ve been there.
I get it.
For a long time, there was a small voice inside that dared me to go after my dreams.
It was relentless.
And I’m grateful, because I learned to recognize that voice.
It is the voice of opportunity.
When I look back at the defining moments in my life, they all happened because I listened when the voice whispered, “This is your next step. Go for it.”
That little voice has lead me to some of the greatest gifts in my life.
My husband.
My first teaching job.
My John Maxwell Team certification.
My first professional writing opportunity with a bestselling author.
My opportunities with the John Maxwell Company and EQUIP.
That voice is with me now, as I launch my first content mentorship program. And I’m so excited because it allows me to pour into people who want to stretch and grow in my area of expertise.
I get to use my gifts to help others.
See that’s what life is all about.
I don’t need to climb a mountain and sit at the feet of a spiritual teacher to know the purpose of life.
Our purpose is beautiful and simple.
The purpose of life is discover our gifts, then use them to help others.
That’s it.
The voice on our shoulder is our personal GPS on the journey.
It guides us as we pursue our purpose.
I may not know what your voice is telling you, but I know it’s there.
Whispering in your ear.
Take the next step, it says.
Believe in yourself, it urges.
Walk in courage, it challenges.
It’s your time, my friend.
Time to dare to be the person you were designed to be.
To share the message you were given to share.
To teach the lessons that are in your heart.
So I’m daring you.
Listen to the voice.
Step out in faith.
The world needs what you have to give.
It’s why you’re here.
